The City of Vincent and surrounding areas play host to hundreds of fantastic events every year. From local markets and youth initiatives, to major festivals and concerts, plus regular history and literature events at the library, there’s something for everyone. Regular Events

Kyilla Community Farmers’ Market
Saturdays 8am-1130am
Kyilla Park, North Perth

Combining fresh produce with the local community, the Kyilla Farmers’ Market was initiated by the local primary school’s P & C Association. These weekly markets bring produce from the paddock to your plate.


Free Youth Skate Clinics
Beginning on Sunday, February 7 from 10am to 11am with regular dates throughout the year
Leederville Skate Park

Free clinics and competitions for young skateboarders aged 5 and up. Skateboarding WA bring the the skateboards, helmets and wrist guards – all you need to do is bring the kids!


Summer Concerts

A series of free summer concerts are held in spaces and parks throughout the City of Vincent during February, featuring local artists, food trucks, and a fantastic atmosphere.

Ricky Green
Sunday, February 28 from 530pm to 7pm
Braithwaite Park

Local folk and indie singer Ricky Green will bring his guitar down to Braithwaite Park to serenade you with soulful lyrics and whimsical guitar riffs.

Sea of Tunes
Sunday, March 20 from 530pm to 7pm
Hyde Park

The final Summer Concert for the year featuring Sea of Tunes, who will play the summer out with fantastic covers of Beach Boys tunes.

Dr Nonja Peters: The Dutch in Western Australia since 1616
Wednesday, February 24 from 10am to 12pm
99 Loftus Street, Leederville

Renowned historian Dr Nonja Peters will discuss her new book and the Dutch maritime, military, migration and mercantile presence in WA.

Discover the history of your house
Saturday, March 12 from 10am to 12pm
99 Loftus Street, Leederville

Join local historians and the library’s Heritage team in this workshop to find the tools and resources needed to discover the story of your home.
