Floreat

Floreat is situated west of the Perth CBD, and is considered to be one of the most popular inner-western suburbs. It’s only 7km from Perth city, and combines modern architecture with natural features throughout. Alongside neighbouring suburbs like City Beach and Wembley, Floreat is part of the Town of Cambridge. The suburb is in high demand, and is sought after by established couples, growing families and older couples due to its excellent location and great real estate opportunities.

Floreat boasts a major shopping centre alongside smaller local grocery stores and shops, a wide range of cafes and eateries, and a number of popular local pubs. It is also home to Perry Lakes Stadium, one of the peak athletic stadiums in the state. Floreat Oval, the Bold Park Aquatic Centre and several other recreational facilities supporting tennis, basketball and bowls are all on offer throughout the suburb. For families with kids already or plans for children in the future, the suburb has its own primary school – Floreat Park Primary – and Newman College is available for kids from kindergarten to year 12. Churchlands Senior High School and Shenton College are also nearby.

Those living in Floreat have the luxury of easy access to the city via local freeways and public transport, as well as various beaches and natural locations. Floreat is a suburb that has it all, which is why demand for properties in the area is so high. It’s the ideal spot for working families, those on their way to or already entering retirement, and young couples.
